Trifecta - Glass - Art Lounge is excited to kick off our 2023 show season with the exhibition, That Figures! Featured this quarter are works by glass artists Deanna Clayton and Jack Gramann, with a curatorial focus on human form expressed in glass.

 

Clayton’s unique approach to glass and years of perfecting the ancient technique of pate de verre, brings her one-of-a-kind figurative works to life. Her technical prowess and beautiful compositions give each piece a soulful depth that captures the emotional attention of every viewer. 

 

The experimentation involving expressionism and surrealist style coalesce in Jack Gramann’s work to create abstracted figures that emerge before the viewer. Finding beauty in the strange and familiarity in the unknown, each sculpture explores our innate ability to form visual connections and examines our physical relationship to the space around each composition.
