Every day we see glass objects, but when used in art it becomes impressive and full of possibilities. Glass has always responded well to my creativity. Each time I work with glass it is like having an exciting conversation with a good friend and I aim to share that with my audience. This conversation is an important process that gives me a hint to get an idea as only glass can. Therefore, my work talks about the materiality of the glass and its process. My interest in glass comes from its life-like qualities, unique properties and essential materiality. These are the qualities that appeal to me. As a result, my work is organic and I look for the moment when the nature of glass becomes form so I keep exploring the material so that I can capture the essential qualities of the glass. I would like to challenge the materiality of the glass, as I challenge life, as we all challenge life, continuously trying to break our limitations and I aspire to have my art reflect that. This process is an ongoing conversation I relish as I bring to light the creative force I experience through working with the material.
